Wishing you all the very best for Christmas and the New Year...

December 20th, 2024 -

Triad Therapy would like to express our sincere gratitude for your support throughout 2024.

This year has been exceptionally productive, marked by significant growth in our services for clients, couples, and clinical supervision. We appreciate the trust our clients place in us and are honoured to serve the mental health needs of individuals across East Lancashire and beyond.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a warm and peaceful Christmas and New Year.

Christmas and New Year can be an incredibly emotional and stressful time too. So, we'd like to offer some insights in to ways that may help you to cope if you find this season overwhelming or difficult to manage.

  • Be patient and gentle with yourself: Prioritise what's best for you and what you need.

  • Set boundaries: Say no to things that aren't helpful for you.

  • Take time out: Step away from the hustle and bustle and prioritise rest and relaxation.

  • Eat well: Keep a healthy routine, with plenty of water, fruit, and veg.

  • Talk about your feelings: It's hard to admit that you don't feel great, but it's important to do so.

  • Ask for help: You're not alone.

  • Limit what you do: You can't avoid the stress of the holidays completely, but you can do what you can to minimise triggers of anxiety.

  • Keep busy: Plan ahead and think about how you'd like to spend your time.

  • Get outside: Take time to be in nature.

  • Listen to your favorite music: Or read an uplifting book.
